Don Bernard, Vice President Engineering and Projects
Don Bernard serves as Vice President for Engineering & Projects for Dockwise. Mr. Bernard has more than 30 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with extensive experience in engineering & projects as well as international business development. He joined Dockwise in 2009 as Vice President of Sales and has gained increasing responsibility.
Michel Seij, Manager of Engineering and Projects, Breda
Michel Seij trained as a Naval Architect from Delft University of Technology. He joined Dockwise in 2001. After working in various technical and operational positions, he is now managing Dockwise’s engineering team. Since 2010 he has been heavily involved in developing a new vessel concept which will enter into service in 2012.
Daejun Kim, Manager of Engineering and Projects, Houston
Dr. Daejun (DJ) Kim has more than eighteen years of experience in offshore/marine structure design and analysis (hydrodynamics, global motions, mooring system design and offshore platform installation), thirteen years of experience in marine engineering and analysis for various offshore platform including SPAR, TLP and fixed platform and five years of experience in ship design/construction as well as extensive experience in see trials and model tests.
Larry Chen, Manager of Engineering and Projects, Shanghai
More than 15 years of experience in the area of project engineering and management, installation engineering, field engineering (yard and offshore), global motion analysis for offshore oil & gas production, and transportation facilities and unique offshore facility for U.S. Navy. More than 3 years of experience in design, modeling and analysis of underwater vehicles, pipelaying analyses, with multi-body interactions.
Harold Velazquez, Business Development Manager
Harold has more than 20 years of experience working in oil related industries. He has held general management and commercial responsibilities for companies involved in sales of petrochemical commodities as well as industrial products. He was also in charge of business development for a fabrication yard of offshore structures with facilities in Europe and Mexico, in which he had global marketing responsibility.
Mireille Roelands, Resource Manager
Since February 2011 Ms. Mireille Roelands has been appointed as Resources Manager. Mireille has worked 7 years for Royal Boskalis Westminster N.V. She has gained a broad experience within several HR positions abroad (Qatar) as well as in a HR planning position at the head office.

Jack Parel, Lead CAD - Breda
Adams Shao, Lead Transport Engineer - Shanghai
Years experiences in shipyards, Quality control, steel supervisor and technician;
Familiar with ship repair workmanship requirements and ship repair procedure and a general knowledge of ship engineering and electric system and docking procedure.
Angeline Zhang, Lead CAD - Shanghai
More than nine years of experiences in offshore/shipbuilding structure design and offshore project management experience (scheduling, execution, co-ordinate among departments and parties to complete project within the given time frame and acceptable quality).
Nathan Contreras, Manager of Structural Engineering, Houston
Mr. Nathan Contreras has ten years of engineering experience in the offshore oil and gas industry including three years of project management. He has an extensive background in areas of design and analysis with emphasis on deepwater jackets, floating structures, offshore installations, topsides design, and detailed engineering.
Bill Roberson, P.E. – Senior Principal
Forty-four years experience designing steel and concrete structures. This includes 32 years of experience in design of offshore structures for international and domestic oil and gas production and processing facilities. Extensive experience with the design of large deepwater fixed platforms.
