Structural Engineer (Breda office)

Before any Dockwise vessel sets sail, the transport has already been executed many times in the minds of Engineers. While preparing the voyage plans, the horizon has been studied for waves the vessel will encounter, the winds it will experience and the loads the cargo will feel. All of this has one aim in mind. To make sure the transport is executed so smoothly that their work goes unnoticed.

Engineering Overview

To successfully transport and install the world’s most inconceivable cargoes, Dockwise employs highly trained people whose individual motivation is first rate and who want to do an excellent job for clients. Those people are working on several Engineering Departments. A team of Design and Structural Engineers in this department design structures for optimum transport. They ensure the cargo is safely supported and secured during the ocean voyage. That is partly done through sophisticated computer simulations.
