Supported by in-house engineering, procurement and dedicated project management capabilities, Dockwise is specialized in the total marine scope for float-over and deck-mating operations of heavy topsides. The marine scope includes load-out operations and transportation from the construction site to the field and subsequently lowering the fully-integrated topside onto a pre-installed substructure.
Using Dockwise vessels increases the freedom of choice of the construction site and additionally provides a safe, efficient and cost effective method for transportation and installation of heavy topsides. In 2007 Dockwise integrated Offshore Kinematics (OKI) and Ocean Dynamics (ODL) into the Dockwise group. OKI and ODL are experts in offshore design and engineering firms which further enhance our services for our clients.
Compared with traditional lifting operations, the advantages of using Dockwise self-propelled heavy transport vessels for float-over and deck-mating operations are:
