Offshore Technology Conference Creates Opportunities for Sustainable Success
As we work to ensure our continued sustainable economic growth, it’s imperative that we prepare and position ourselves for the next upswing in business, which we know is on the horizon. Part of this preparation includes our continued focus on our Heavy Marine Transport (HMT) business, as it continues to be a major source of our revenue, while also seeking opportunities for showcasing our company’s unique and differentiated expertise in Offshore Transport & Installation and Logistical Management. Therefore, our strong presence and participation at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC), on May 3-6 in Houston, is essential to helping us achieve these goals.
Just how important is the OTC to Dockwise and our future? In short, if you’re not at OTC – then you don’t exist: The Offshore Technology Conference is the principal worldwide conference for the offshore oil, gas, and energy-related business. At its peak, there are about 55,000 attendees from around the globe at OTC, which creates a unique opportunity for Dockwise to showcase our company and truly present ourselves to a worldwide audience of participants.
To capture participants’ attention, we have our beautiful exhibit booth that has been redesigned and moved to a new location (Booth 5225 in Hall A). Our exhibit booth always draws a lot of very positive attention, and this year we are continuing with our tradition of having a sushi chef prepare sushi for our visitors. But great food isn’t the only reason our booth is popular at OTC: Our exhibit booth is something that everyone at OTC has always raved about because we have such powerful and beautiful photographs of our vessels and the impressive cargos they carry. They say a picture speaks a thousand words. People love to visit our booth and look at these beautiful images, and I believe our redesigned booth allows us to maximize this unique visual experience for our visitors.
OTC is essential to Dockwise and our future: It’s a unique opportunity to reconnect and nurture older relationships, discover new partnership opportunities, as well as identify industry trends and keep an eye on the future. There are always some new developments that come out of OTC that provide long-term value for Dockwise.
